What happens when trading access is paused
When the account's current subscription or access state does not allow trading features, TensorAlgo can temporarily apply zero trading capacity to the affected account instead of continuing to evaluate Playbooks with an invalid entitlement state.
This is an access state, not a reason to guess that the account's earlier records have been deleted.
What can become unavailable
While trading access is paused, the effective account limits can prevent actions such as:
- saving or activating Playbooks;
- running active strategies;
- streaming supported symbols;
- adding GEX / Gamma cards;
- using historical-data lookback controlled by the plan;
- saving Risk Profiles;
- using CSV Trade Export;
- accessing Marketplace actions that depend on an active entitlement.
The exact state shown in the signed-in account is authoritative.
Why TensorAlgo pauses those actions
Plan-controlled features depend on a valid current entitlement. Continuing active evaluation after the account no longer has the required access would make the dashboard state inconsistent with Billing.
Pausing the plan-controlled workflow keeps the account aligned with its current subscription state until access is restored.
Restore access
- Open Settings → Billing.
- Review the current subscription status and available action.
- Complete the required reactivation, plan selection, or checkout when applicable.
- Return to Billing and confirm the expected active state.
- Refresh the dashboard.
- Sign out and back in once if earlier limits are still cached in the session.
After access is restored, the effective account limits should again reflect the active entitlement.
If Billing is active but features are still paused
That is a Billing/access mismatch rather than a reason to purchase the same subscription repeatedly.
Use these checks:
- confirm the exact plan and active status in Billing;
- refresh the dashboard;
- sign out and back in;
- compare the affected feature with the effective limits shown for the account;
- allow a short period for a just-completed payment to synchronize.
If the mismatch remains, open a Support Ticket with the plan shown, affected feature, approximate payment or reactivation time, and any visible transaction reference. Do not include full payment credentials.
