How streamer affiliate commission works
Approved TensorAlgo streamers and creators earn 15% commission on eligible subscription revenue from customers attributed through their Affiliate referral.
The commission keeps rewarding the creator while the referred subscription remains eligible rather than treating the referral as a one-time signup event.
How the commission is created
- The approved creator shares their personal referral code or link.
- The customer completes the supported signup and subscription flow.
- TensorAlgo records the eligible customer attribution.
- Eligible referred subscription revenue creates Affiliate earnings.
- The earning appears in the creator's signed-in Affiliate and Creator Earnings state.
Commission rate
The current approved Affiliate commission rate is 15% of eligible referred subscription revenue. This is separate from the customer's 15% referral discount.
14-day hold and Available Earnings
Eligible Affiliate earnings start with a 14-day Pending hold. After the hold and required checks, they become Available Earnings.
Affiliate earnings then use exactly the same settlement rules as Marketplace seller and Invite Streamers earnings:
- Platform Credits: $1 of Available Earnings = 1,000 base Platform Credits plus a 6.5% bonus. $100 becomes 106,500 Platform Credits.
- Cash: a 3.5% payout processing fee applies. A $100 request produces a $96.50 net cash payout.
Automatic Platform Credit conversion is optional, applies to all three Creator Earnings sources, and is off by default. Cash is not automatic: the creator explicitly requests cash before the earning can enter the twice-monthly payout cycle on the 1st and 16th UTC.
Relationship to Invite Streamers
Affiliate commission belongs to the streamer or creator who referred the paying subscriber. If that streamer was directly invited by another eligible TensorAlgo user, the original inviter can separately earn 3% of the eligible subscription revenue generated through that invited streamer. That Invite Streamers earning uses the same 14-day hold and the same +6.5% Platform Credit / 3.5% cash settlement choices.
Marketplace revenue is a separate earning source
Marketplace Playbook sales and rentals are not included in the Affiliate subscription commission calculation. They create Marketplace seller earnings instead. Both sources nevertheless settle through the same Creator Earnings policy.
If expected commission is missing or delayed
Check the signed-in Affiliate and Creator Earnings views first. If an eligible referral is missing, a hold appears unusually long, or a settlement state does not match the visible ledger history, open a Support Ticket with the approximate referral/payment time and visible non-sensitive status information.
